Andrew Lowe-Watson has composed in a variety of musical media, including opera, musical theatre, orchestral, chamber and choral. His first acknowledged work, a Magnificat for unaccompanied choir, was conceived while sheltering from the rain in the porch of Knapton church whilst on holiday.
Since moving to Norfolk in 2001 he has been inspired by the angel roof of Trunch church, Halvergate Marshes, Nelson, John Constable and the Quiet Lanes near his home. He is currently writing two new piano pieces which have no connection with Norfolk.
